SHOUT OUT FOR THE WOLF!

This was made to bring up the horrible events that occur in Sweden right now. It's the first wolf hunt in 100 years. Don't get me wrong, it's not that they actually legalized wolf hunt (even though I think it's absurd) it's they way they do it and on what grounds that makes me mad.
Last Saturday 12 000 hunters went out to shoot 27 of our 250 (!!!) almost extincted Swedish wolfs. It's about 440 hunters on ONE wolf! This kind of hunt is illegal according to Swedish and European laws (Thank god!) And it has been reported.
Not enough that it's to many hunters on the wolf, they have already shoot to many than the given quota. Not deadly shoot, because that he hunters do is to WOUND them! It's no quota for how many wolfs you can wound, but it is a law that you have to mercy kill every accidentally wounded animal! So in this way the hunters can shoot more wolfs than it is allowed.
About 100 years ago we had about 100 000 wolfs in Sweden, but they were driven to extinction by hunts. In year 2000 was 60(!!!!) wolfs counted! Here it was decided that 200 more wolves were needed for the specie to survive. Now, the tribe has grown to 250 and now our stupid government (I will NOT apologize for this statement!) decided to drive a hunt again!?
And on what ground? It's not because the wolves takes to many tame animals (as they tried to use as argument before) or that it's a threat to humans. The reason why this this hunt was allowed was because the hunters think that the wolves take to many of THEIR preys!!!!?? This is the most stupid argument EVER! And it WORKED!!? As many hunters in my area in the 70's as now kills more than double of preys that they did then. This even though that the tribes of wolves, bears and lynx are expanding. So what is the problem? The hunters say that the wolves attacks their elk hounds, but as a hunter they should now that it's their responsibility to have the dog under supervision so it will not go and drive other animals than it suppose to hunt, right?
Almost half of the area of Sweden has no or very little population, why is it so hard to share it with the wolf?

This is just a cry out for the Swedish wolf. More than 2/3 was against the wolf hunt but the government took this decision anyway, so my cry outs wouldn't work. But this is the only way I can show my opinions and hope that more people in the world may react. Or least spare a thought for the Swedish wolf!
